anna yeruchimovitz found her job at procter & gamble through the jobnet site.
anna, 28, has a bachelor’s degree in economics.
says anna:
“in 2002 i finished my degree in economics at tel aviv university and went on to a master’s degree program at the college of management.
before i came here i spent a year and a half working as a buyer for the purchasing department of intel and then i decided to look for a new job. i wanted to advance professionally and get better pay and job terms. i didn’t have it bad there, but during that period i couldn’t progress within the company, so i began looking for a position that would help me move forward. i started the job-hunting process while i was still at intel.”

on the job-search process:
“i looked mostly on websites, including jobnet of course.
i’ve been familiar with jobnet for years. when i looked for work previously i used jobnet. it’s the leading job-search site when it comes to searching ease. the search words i entered were ‘purchasing,’ ‘economics’ and ‘logistics’ and a lot of the results i received were for suitable jobs. i sent my resume to a number of companies through the site, including procter & gamble. after sending in my resume i was called in for testing here at the company, followed by a series of interviews."
“the process was very quick. from the moment i started searching, within two weeks i found the job at procter & gamble, and two weeks later i was already on the job.”
at the beginning of august, anna started work in procter & gamble’s logistics department as a demand planner.
with 130,000 employees working at 80 branches around the world, procter & gamble is the world’s largest consumer products company with sales in 114 countries totaling $70 billion annually. p&g’s israel branch was opened in 2001 at ramat hachayal in tel aviv and numbers 80 employees.
on her job at p&g:
“i’m in charge of the logistics of several labels the company distributes in israel.
my job includes full logistical management, planning and launching of new products, and in general insuring that the goods arrive on time and that everything runs according to plan. i work with various factories, in full coordination with the marketing and sales department."
“the work is very interesting and challenging. it’s nice working in a place that’s rewarding, both in terms of advancement and training, and salary. from a personal standpoint it’s a fun place to work.”
on the integration process at the company:
“i was very well received. the atmosphere here is great. most of the people at the company are young, giving it a vibrant environment. i’m enjoying myself here both socially and professionally. the integration process was quick and easy because i was given a lot of help from the whole staff during the transition period.
“the company also sent me to several guidance and training programs to allow me to carry out my job the best way possible.”
