The role includes computational optical design, stray light analysis, and practical work in optical development labs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities
Computational optical design for a wide range of optical systems

We are looking for someone who has experience in prototyping and demonstrating automated measurement and inspection systems. You should be an experimentalist who has the creativity and skills to work on cutting edge measurement technology. You will work closely with our dedicated team of scientists, engineers, and other members of the team to solve complex problems and create the next generation of innovative solutions for our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Lead or participate in strategic research projects in the field of X-ray-based metrology and inspection
•Work with the applications, engineering, and marketing teams to understand customer challenges and propose creative solutions to help drive Advanced Technology Development
•Close collaboration with engineering team (electrical, mechanical and software) to develop prototype measurement setups
•Design and conduct experiments to demonstrate feasibility of new measurement setups
•Analyze and interpret experimental data
•Prepare and present research findings to peers and management
•Contribute to technical articles and customer / conference presentations
•Prepare disclosures of new inventions
•Participate in Israeli and EU consortia projects
•Able to travel occasionally (10%), including international travel
